It is a self defined Dead Weather Wednesday… and I found five!
Let’s do this…

Oh, right! I almost forgot! Thank you!
I guess it’s a Dead Weather Wednesday.
Photo from jack’s website.
I have to tell you guys a story about tonight, bear with me. See in the bottom right of the photo the little girl with black sleeves next to the guy in yellow? That my cousin/part time kid I’ve helped raise as a nanny for 10 years. Tonight we went to the forecastle festival in Louisville to see jack. She’s a huge fan, she listens to him almost exclusively. So we camp in front of the stage alllllll day. She’s so tired but pushes through. Halfway through the show we see jack gesture towards her to his guy in the suit. A few minutes later the man in the suit is standing in front of us and goes “is she with you? Wanna finish watching the show from the stage?” !!!!! So they pull us over the barrier and take us backstage and up to the performance area right behind the piano! So he’s killing it, amazing show….. and she’s crying because she’s so nervous. She finally calms down and gets into it, clapping and stuff and jack starts to play 7 nation army. He’s doing the famous riff when he starts walking towards us. And keeps walking towards us until he’s right in front of her inches away playing just to her. Her eyes got sooo big and she froze lol Well the show ended and they all exited the stage, after a bit the man in the suit comes back and says follow me. He leads us to a small tent with some people in it and a couple of the band members. He offers us drinks and tells us to relax and rest. A few minutes later he comes up and we don’t realize it and he goes hey guys I want you to meet my friend jack! And there he was! He shook our hands and asked us a few questions then went around and met a couple other people. As he headed out he stopped and shook her hand one more time and goes “see ya Maci!” I was so touched he did that for her. The whole thing was the sweetest and most kind thing. We hung out a little more and Lillie Mae (the violin player) came in and chatted a bit with her too and the two of them ended up playing with some little magnet toys lol she’s never going to forget this night. jack white does so much for his fans. I’ve never seen a musician at his level do something so cool. Legend.
Reblogging this was a must.

I know, lol! If my name jackwhiteinthebox wasn’t so perfect for my blog already jackwhiterabbit would have been pretty sweet. I’m going to reblog something that totally pertains to this topic… I’ll tag you. (I just cropped it from a mag I had.)
Anonymous said: Hello, do you know this picture of the DW in The Observer interview? Could you post it if you ever happen to have it?
If they are on the cover, I definitely have it. If it’s not the cover story, I won’t have it.
They don’t monopolize many covers so, if you like, maybe I can focus on what I do have of theirs. I can count them on one hand. 1 Mexican, 1 French Rolling Stone, 1 NME Festival Guide, 1 Music Connection (I think it is)… and that’s about it. I can have them all up next week…
What do you think, all? Is a Dead Weather Week in order?
Thank you, so much for translating! What a fantastic article, swimming with imagination, lore, history and an appreciation for the blues.
What a wild read!

Thanks are great but not necessary. You are so welcome!
Before Lazaretto, there are literally hundreds. It is a rabbithole… a huge and endless rabbithole.
As long as this man is working, you will be too. He’s like the White Rabbit, in Alice in Wonderland… a workaholic. You’ll be chasing him forwards, backwards and upside down.
"… so curious…"

So, thanks!
Excellent! That makes me feel so good, to read that! I was hoping that this was the case.
I always say, I love sharing them… especially with those who might otherwise not get to read them. At least, this way, you get to be your own judge and form your own opinion(s). It’s hard to decipher between what is true and what is not, even with these articles. Rather than reading the frequently hot headed, reactionary and assumptive opinions that people in fandoms can project on you… you get to develop your own thoughts in the matter(s) by seeing the material yourself first. Although the interviewers, writers and publishers may have things wrong… that’s for you to decide… not another reader that over filters it into what THEY want you to think, believe or agree with them on.
**If you ever see opinions that you’re questioning about certain articles, DO NOT be afraid to ask me if I have the full version. I try to keep up but I may miss the odd trend here and there.**
